Name: Dapplepaw
Gender: She-Cat
Age: 6 moons
Clan: LightningClan
Rank: Medicine Cat
Strengths:
~~~Stealth - She's good at keeping perfectly still and silent for an extended time and shows promise when it comes to hunting and ambushing. She's a very new apprentice and hasn't caught anything larger than a beetle or butterfly yet, but it seems like she'll start contributing to the fresh-kill pile very soon.
~~~Climbing - She's practiced this for as long as she's been able, whether her parents allowed it or not. She's probably not the best climber in her clan yet, as there are warriors far more experienced than her, but it's looking like she'll at least be among the better ones when she grows up.
Weaknesses:
~~~Size - She's smaller and weaker than average for her size, and probably won't be able to handle more than a few heavy hits in a fight.
~~~Risk-Taker - The squirrel went up the tree? No problem, she'll just dart right up there after it! The rabbit ran across the border? Eh, what enemy cat's going to care about a few tail-lengths. That warrior's twice her size? She didn't seem to notice. Been dared to climb to the highest branch of the tallest tree? She won't stop until she's achieved this or fallen out of the tree in the attempt. You'd better watch this one closely, or she may end up dying prematurely.
Appearance: Short-furred black and orange tortoiseshell she-cat with green eyes. She's small and scrawny with a few scars already from sharp plants and accidental clawings. Her paws and back right leg are solid black, because her father's pelt color genes didn't bother to go that far down. They do seem to dominate part of her face, though. There is an orange blaze marking along her nose that runs up between her eyes and continues into a sort of patch around her left eye. The orange pretty much evenly dapples the rest of her body, except for her white tail tip.
Personality: On duty, she's quiet and serious, wholly focused on her task. She wants to be respected and well-known in her clan, so she's intent on doing every patrol to the best of her ability. Off-duty, though, she's a friendly and outgoing cat, always on the hunt for friends, fun, and maybe romance. She has a lot of life goals, so she's already started working toward them in the hopes of achieving every single one. She does get frustrated easily, though, especially when she thinks she's experiencing a setback.
Quirks and Other Tidbits:
~~~When she was younger, she thought she'd collect the tails of every squirrel she ever ate. She tries this, but then nature took its course, and she learned that body parts do not make good collectibles. These days, she's decided not to collect anything, simply because she doesn't want to go through that kind of effort when she could be doing something better.
~~~Her favorite fresh-kill is squirrel. Also thrush. It varies by the day/her mood/the alignment of the cosmos which one's her absolute favorite and which one's the secondary favorite. Her absolute least favorite fresh-kill is moles, and she refuses to eat one unless that's the only thing available at the end of the day and she hasn't eaten yet. She has no idea why she has these preferences.
~~~Dapplepaw is very young but is sure she already knows what she wants out of life. She wants to be one of the best apprentices and find something in which she excels above all other members of her clan. When she dies, she wants to be remembered forever for her great skill, whatever skill that ends up being, and while she's living she wants to earn the respect of everyone in her clan and maybe even the warriors in other clans. At some point in there, she wants to mentor at least one apprentice, find a mate, raise a litter or two, and have a group of close friends in the clan as well as at least one friend in each of the other clans. Basically, she wants to experience all a warrior can without becoming leader, deputy, or medicine cat, since she knows those honors are far too rare to bank her hopes on.
History: Nothing too remarkable here, mostly because I'm hoping to find some littermates for her. Right now, can I just say she had a normal life and was raised by a black-furred mother and a ginger father?
